02The Sydney Difference
Sydney list collection isn't the same problem as Melbourne or Brisbane.
Sydney's private health landscape is unusually fragmented. The work is in the geography, not the room.
A single Sydney anaesthetist might cover lists at St Vincent's Private in Darlinghurst on Monday, North Shore Private in St Leonards on Tuesday, Macquarie University Hospital on Wednesday, and the SAN out at Wahroonga by the end of the week. Each surgical room has its own rhythm for releasing lists. Each one requires a relationship to be built with the right person.
A common approach is to ask the anaesthetist to email or upload their lists each week. We do the work ourselves. When you join us, you tell us which Sydney rooms you work with. We contact each one, introduce ourselves, and build the relationship. From that point on, your lists come directly to us every week. The geography stops being your problem.

04Regional NSW
Anaesthetic billing for regional NSW.
We're a regional business ourselves — our office is in Bendigo — and we bill for regional anaesthetists the same way we do in the capitals. Distance doesn't change the service: lists come to us from the rooms and claims are lodged electronically.
Our regional NSW work currently extends to Albury, which we cover alongside Wodonga as part of regional Victoria, and we'd like to broaden it further. The service is identical to what we provide in Sydney — direct relationships with your surgical rooms, a named Account Manager who learns how you practise, the same 4.5% + GST rate. The only difference is which surgical rooms we'd be building relationships with on your behalf.

Do you handle NSW workers compensation (icare) anaesthetic claims?
Yes. In NSW, workers compensation is run through icare and the insurers it oversees, under SIRA’s workers compensation fee order, which pays anaesthesia at AMA rates. We set up your NSW workers compensation billing at no extra cost, lodge the claims with the right insurer and follow up anything rejected or queried every week.
