Anaesthetic billing services, wherever you practise in Australia.
Fast Tracking looks after specialist anaesthetists in private practice in every Australian capital — Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart — and across regional Australia. One published rate, the same everywhere: 4.5% of collected revenue, plus GST. We run from a single Bendigo office, founded in 2018 by a practising anaesthetist, and we collect your operating lists direct from your surgical rooms — wherever those rooms are.
You stay in theatre. We do the rest.
Choose your city — or tell us where you practise.
Each city page covers the hospitals we deal with, how the local private landscape works, and the questions anaesthetists in that state ask most. The service behind every one of them is the same.
The city changes. The service doesn’t.
It would be easy to treat each capital as a different product. We don’t. Whether you practise in Sydney or Hobart, you get the same thing: we collect your operating lists direct from every surgical room you work with, a dedicated account manager learns how you practise, and we follow each claim through to payment. The only thing that changes between cities is which rooms we’re building relationships with on your behalf.
The price doesn’t change either. 4.5% of collected revenue, plus GST, everywhere. No setup fee, no exit fee, no software charge, no minimum monthly fee, and no fee at all on revenue we don’t collect. We publish the rate openly because anaesthetists shouldn’t have to ring around to find out what billing costs. There’s no metro loading and no regional surcharge.
Why being in Bendigo doesn’t make us a distant biller.
The work that has to happen near you is collecting your lists. We solve that with relationships, not postcodes.
Most billing services ask the anaesthetist to email or upload their operating lists each week, which quietly turns a specialist into an admin clerk. We do the opposite. When you join us, you tell us which surgical rooms you work with. We contact each one, introduce ourselves, and arrange for your lists to come to us directly — every week, automatically. After that, the distance between us and your theatre is irrelevant: the lists arrive the same way whether your rooms are in Randwick or regional Victoria.
Everything else — MBS coding review, claim submission through ECLIPSE, health-fund liaison, Informed Financial Consent, patient invoicing, rejection follow-up — is administrative work that has never needed to be done in your city. It needs to be done well. You remain the legal lodger on every claim; we advise, review and correct.
Anaesthetic billing for regional practice.
Most boutique billing services concentrate on the capitals. Regional anaesthetists are typically left choosing between a national agency that processes them through a queue, or doing the billing themselves at the end of a long clinical week. Neither is the right answer for a specialist practice, and neither is what we offer.
Our regional work currently extends to centres such as Albury, and we want to broaden it. The service is identical to the capitals — direct relationships with your surgical rooms, a dedicated account manager who learns how you practise, the same 4.5% all-inclusive rate. The only difference is which rooms we’d be building relationships with on your behalf.
If you’re in private practice in a regional centre — in any state — and your billing doesn’t get the attention a metro practice would, we’d genuinely like to talk.
One team, in one office, for every state we bill in.

Most billing services run on a queue: claims go in, claims come out, and nobody knows your practice. Fast Tracking runs on the account-manager model instead. Every anaesthetist we look after has a dedicated account manager — a real person with the time and training to learn which surgeons they cover, which rooms run late, and which patients are repeat. Cross-trained, so there’s no single point of failure when someone’s on leave.
Our account managers are anaesthetic-billing specialists, not generalists. They review every claim before submission — catching missed modifiers, time-unit errors and sequencing issues — against the anaesthetic MBS rules and the quirks of how individual funds process anaesthetic claims. Over 99% of our claims are accepted on first submission — the result of competence, not luck.
Your administration reflects you. The standards your patients see before they meet you are the standards they’ll attribute to you.
What’s included — the same in every city.
The 4.5% all-inclusive rate covers the entire anaesthetic billing workflow. There are no upgrade tiers, no setup fees and no surprise invoices — in any state.

Already with a biller? Migration takes about a week.
If you’re currently with another billing service — a small local operator or one of the larger national agencies — we handle the migration entirely, in any state. You give us a single point of contact at your current provider; we coordinate the transfer of your patient records, Informed Financial Consents and any in-flight claims.
Most anaesthetists are fully migrated within five business days, with no gap in collections. Free migration is included as standard. There’s no setup fee for switching, and no minimum term once you’re on board — if we’re not the right fit, you’re free to leave.
Why anaesthetists choose our billing service. Why they stay.
