Do you currently look after Perth anaesthetists?
Not yet — Fast Tracking is taking on its first Perth anaesthetists. You'd get the same service our eastern-states anaesthetists get: lists collected, IFCs 7 days before surgery, invoices within 48 hours of your codes and weekly rejection follow-up. The only thing new is which Perth surgical rooms we'd be building relationships with on your behalf. New to private practice? See
what we set up for new independents, or
contact us to talk it through.
Doesn't the time difference make this difficult?
No. Our phones are open 6am–2pm Perth time during eastern daylight saving and 7am–3pm otherwise, Monday to Friday, so we’d be working before most Perth lists start. More on how distance works is
above.
Which Perth private hospitals will you cover for me?
Whichever ones you work in. St John of God has several metropolitan sites — Subiaco, Murdoch, Mount Lawley, and Midland, alongside Hollywood Private (Nedlands), Mount Hospital, Bethesda, Joondalup Health Campus, Glengarry Private, and Attadale Private. When you join us, we'd contact each room you work with, introduce ourselves, and build the relationship before your first list. The list above is a starting point — not exhaustive. Day surgery centres, specialist surgical clinics, and regional WA sites would all be in scope.
What does anaesthetic billing cost in Perth?
Anaesthetic billing in Perth costs 4.5% of collected revenue, plus GST, with Fast Tracking. There are no setup fees, no exit fees, no software charges, and no minimum monthly fee. The same rate as everywhere else we work — Perth isn't priced differently. The full breakdown, including what's covered in the rate and what isn't, is on our
pricing page.
Do you handle WorkCover WA anaesthetic claims?
Yes. WorkCover WA runs Western Australia’s workers compensation scheme, with its own fee schedule and approval process, separate from Medicare and the health funds. We'd set up your WorkCover WA billing at no extra cost, lodge the claims with the employer's insurer, and follow up anything rejected or queried every week, as we do for every other payer.
Do you handle HBF and the WA-specific health funds?
Yes. HBF, Bupa, Medibank, HCF, NIB, AHM, GMHBA, and the smaller restricted-access funds are all handled through ECLIPSE the same way nationally. Our Account Managers know each fund's anaesthetic claims quirks — including how HBF processes time-based items, ASA modifiers, and the gap-cover arrangements that vary fund-to-fund — and every claim is quality-checked before submission. We'd also register you with the funds and set up your gap scheme elections at no extra cost.
Can you handle multi-site practice across Perth metro?
Yes. Whether you're rotating across St John of God Subiaco, Hollywood Private, and Mount Hospital, or across Murdoch, Bethesda, and a south-of-river day surgery, we'd contact each room individually and collect your lists from each one weekly, so working across several sites wouldn't add to your admin.
How do I switch from my current Perth billing service?
Switching? Pick a cut-over date. Your previous biller keeps following up the claims it has already lodged; we'd bill everything from your first list with us, so nothing is billed twice. There is no setup fee and no minimum term. If you're doing your own billing now, you finish the claims you've lodged and we start from your first list with us.
